Jon W. Denker has worked extensively in both digital and large format
traditional photography. He was born in Germany and received his education
in Europe. He graduated from the School of Photography in Dudley,
Staffordshire, England, with a Bachelor's Degree in Photography, and
also earned a degree in Fine Arts from the Sorbonne in Paris, France.
For seven years, he was employed by Stern Magazine of Hamburg, Germany,
as a photojournalist. He then completed one year of service with the
Washington Post and subsequently co-founded a community newsletter
for the Adams Morgan residential district in Washington, D.C.
In 1984, he founded CAPS and has freelanced in architectural and commercial
photography. He currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona, where he continues
to maintain an extensive clientele both locally and nationally. Recent
publications include projects for McGraw-Hill companies (Southwest
Contractor), Houses of God (Michael J. Crosbie),
Desert Living magazine,
Worship Facilities magazine, Architectural Lighting magazine, and
PA magazine.
